I have recently done a lot of work building Rest API's, ETL processors, and Web Applications. For front-end I prefer React and Redux. I enjoy working with Serverless technologies like Lambda and Dynamo. I have solid experience with Mysql and Postgres.
Personal Projects
FloPay is an Email Invoicing and Text to Pay app. It is a SASS platform for payment and ERP software that provides UI and API for Payment work flows. It is written in modern Javascript, NodeJS and React and deployed in AWS using The Serverless Framework
A few years ago, over Christmas break, I decided I wanted to write a game. I stumbled across PhaserJS and spent the next few weeks making this little platformer game. I created the art and animation. The music was written and performed by a friend of mine, Jory Banks. It's all original.
This is the first project I ever made. Originally written in PHP in 2011, I rewrote it in NodeJS and Angular 1X in 2013, It is very dated, but we use it every day. I run this on a Raspberry Pi in our home, and we stream Movies, TV, and Audio Books to all the devices in our house. It connects to a third party API to collect meta data about the content, supports subtitles, and more. Some day I plan to update it to some new codebase.
